Our Story
Global Noun was inspired by my experiences growing up in Liberia, where expressing oneself to authority figures was often seen as disrespectful. This cultural conditioning affected my confidence in speaking up, especially in professional settings.
When I started my career in corporate America, I didn’t prioritize being heard, believing that hard work alone would lead to recognition and advancement. Over time, I realized this mindset was self-sabotaging, and I needed to overcome my communication barriers.
Through my journey and observing others, I’ve learned the value of sharing knowledge, building relationships, and advocating for oneself to gain trust, visibility, and opportunities.
I founded Global Noun to give professionals the support I wish I had in finding my voice.
